Leadership in CCPA

The guiding principle of Open Fun Football Schools is that ”we do, as we do, because it works!”. But since Cross Cultures – the organization that is behind the football school programme – have been among the first and properly also are the biggest within the sector: Sport and reconciliation, seeing that sport has never been recognized as a tool in humanitarian operations, Cross Cultures haven’t had corresponding organizations to look to. Because of this Cross Cultures have been forced to go their own ways. More than once it has been few resources and “coincidences” that have helped the programme on its way. But in the end Cross Cultures have build up a programme and an organization, which is a movement in the region driven forward by volunteers and where the most important driving force is the creativity, joy, energy and love of the volunteers to children and football.
