Prestigious award goes to Mazen Ramandan CCPA country–coordinator Lebanon

Yesterday, the suspense of one of this year’s nominations for Asian Football Confederation’s Annual Awards, was broken by a sms in Copenhagen: a jubilant “Yes, man. I did it. Best MC in Asia”. As yet one more example of a stellar career in sports organising Mazen Ramandan, CCPA country-coordinator Lebanon, was yesterday awarded the prize as Best Match Commissioner of 2009 by Asian Football Confederation. “A quick thinker with the ability to make sharp and snappy decisions on difficult issues” were some of the fine words of the AFC Competitions Committee.
