Year Football Gala 2009 in Moldova

On 11 December 2009 the FA of Moldova hosted the traditional Year Football Gala and CCPA/OFFS Moldova received two nominations:
 
1. From UEFA - The best Grassroots Event of 2009 in Moldova - OFFS Ribnitsa (FC Narubai), for better organisation of schools in 2009, and for the conduct of a large number of football events (Day of Peace on Sept. 21, Diabetics Day)

2. Special award from the FA of Moldova - For development of Grassroots football in Moldova - SIDA Moldova

                                                                                      

On the ceremony of inaugurations the head of SIDA Moldova - Mr. Julius and Ylva Sorman - were present. The Gala was attended by about 500 people from all over Moldova, including the President of Moldova Mr. Ghimpu, the new Youth and Sport minister Mr.Cebanu, and other politicians. In the welcoming speech, the FA President of Moldova, Pavel Ciobanu, summed up the 2009 year of football. In the Gala the best coaches, players, and clubs - including in women's football - were awarded. For all the guests the FA Moldova organised a concert with pop stars from Moldova.

                                                                                              
Year Football Gala was visited by the project coordinator CCPA/OFFS Scurtul Ghennadie, assistant coordinators Conusevici Yuri, Ceban Svetlana, and all CCPA/OFFS instructors from Moldova.
